CATEGORY 01 — TRUST & CREDENTIALS

Who you’re hiring.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes — Florida state mechanical contractor license CMC1249271, fully insured. Every job we run is under that license. You can verify any Florida contractor at myfloridalicense.com.

What areas do you serve?

Three South Florida counties with dedicated regional dispatch:

Miami-Dade — 305-403-8556
Broward — 954-294-8584
Palm Beach — 561-310-6968

Each region has its own crew so calls don’t bounce.

Is the estimate really free?

Yes. No call-out fee, no obligation. We come out, look at the job, and give you a written number. If you move forward, great. If not, no charge.

CATEGORY 02 — BOOKING

Getting on the schedule.

How fast can you get someone out?

Same-day in most cases during business hours (Mon–Fri 8am–4pm, Sat 8am–1pm). Book online through our booking widget or call your regional number for the fastest dispatch.

What happens after I book online?

You’ll get a confirmation, then a dispatch time window. Our tech arrives, diagnoses the issue, and gives you the price before any work starts — no surprises, no upsells you didn’t agree to.

CATEGORY 03 — CARE & REPAIR

Keeping your system healthy.

How often should I service my AC in South Florida?

Twice a year minimum. Florida’s heat, humidity, and salt air mean your system runs harder than almost anywhere in the country — a unit that gets one tune-up a year up north needs two here.

How often should I change my air filter?

Every 30 days in South Florida. Manufacturer standard is 1–3 months; the humidity and dust load here cuts that in half. More often if you have pets or allergies.

Should I repair or replace my AC?

Rule of thumb: if your unit is over 10 years old, or the repair quote is more than 50% of replacement cost, replacement is usually the smarter spend.

We’ll give you a straight answer — we don’t push replacements when a repair is right.

CATEGORY 04 — FLORIDA SPECIFICS

Built for this climate.

What thermostat setting actually saves money in Florida?

78°F is the sweet spot for cooling. Every degree lower runs your operating cost up roughly 3–8%. If 78 feels warm, a ceiling fan plus 78 usually feels like 75 — at a fraction of the bill.

My AC isn’t cooling — what should I check before calling?

Two-minute checklist before you book:

  • Thermostat set to COOL and below room temp
  • Breaker for the AC in the ON position
  • Air filter not clogged
  • Return and supply vents not blocked by furniture

If all four check out and it’s still not cooling, that’s our call.

CATEGORY 05 — SCOPE

What else we do.

What other services do you offer besides AC?

Beyond AC repair, maintenance, and installation, we handle:

  • Ductwork — installation, repair, sealing, cleaning
  • Insulation — attic, wall, crawl space
  • Garage door installation — ask us when you book if you need it added to the visit

Everything under one licensed contractor instead of three.
